Everytime I go to type something new it always makes Y the first character when instead I needed an S or something but any other first letter would be fine

Basically the first character I type in the minecraft chat changes to the letter Y so then I have to go change it back. Any other characters after that are fine. It really starts to get annoying after a while. Please do something thanks.
