I got teleported 1000 blocks away from my portal

I went through my main portal and the game sent me 1000 blocks «Nether distance» away and then I got killed by Piglins. This hoppend to me two times before this, and I destroyed the portal that I did not Even create but I still somehow managed to Get teleported to this destination.
