Microsoft account constantly signs out on Switch

Whenever the game is launched I am asked to re-validate my Microsoft login through the Microsoft website. This doesn't happen when playing the game on Xbox or on tablets and occurs nearly 100% of the time when using the switch.

 

Suspending the switch also causes the account to be signed out and I am unable to re-sign in unless I force close the game due to an error with an error code of "Piglin"
