Barriers still needs to be fixed

Mojang, there is  bug in Minecraft and it is with barriers. When I placed barriers then hovered over the barriers with it still in hand, and created a HUGE barrier(s) in the sky! This bug has been around since like idk when barriers where added? ( I discovered it in 1.16.1 )
