Lighting issues in surface caves

If you find a cave near the surface, the walls seem to be bugged completely black, and block updates do not work. Furthermore, even if you wait for it to fix itself after nighttime (idk why, skylight issues), it will fix itself. However, it bugs again if you login during the in-game daytime. And yes, I checked with light source blocks if it was supposed to be dark.
