Unstable cross platform play

Cross platform play between my partner's PC and my Xbox has become unstable and laggy since the 1.17.2 hotfix. Connection lasts a few minutes, and is very laggy then we either disconnect or her PC crashes, in a couple of instances hard crash to start-up. Single player worlds run fine, and we have no issues Xbox to Xbox play.
