Purple glitching screen after loading up existing world

After starting minecraft on the switch and loading in my world with the loading screen taking a while, my world appeared normal for a few seconds but then all of a sudden turned very purple, the hot bar and button guide were all messed up and blocks appeared weird (and purple). I could still move but it was janky.

After existing and reloading, it was fine again.
