Detector rails permanetly powered after moving

when a detector rail that is active moves it stays permanently powered.

 

in this case I was using a piston to move a detector rail out of the way to stop the minecart, but when it then stayed on it activated the piston pushing a block and detector rail to start the minecart in the loop again. but any activated detector rails that got moved stay powered
