Nether Portal is sending to overworld coords in nether

When I enter my nether portal at my base, it is teleporting me in the nether to the overworld coords of my nether portal. which would be fine, except it is a 5 hour walk in the nether to get back... no portal is created on nether side, this is a recent issue and been happening for the last two days. I have my nether portal correctly postioned in the nether.

Playing on seed -1137939798  my Portal in overworld is 602 73 13055

When stepping into nether it is sending me to  598 75 13061 in a soul sand Biome..

Please help.

I've made the trip back home twice... got it to relink last night for a bit... but now it's messed up again... So now I am making a copy of my world every time before stepping into the nether as I do not wish to make this trip anymore... it's a serious pain.
