Basically when I mine a block, the block will break but then it will reappear and the item that was broken will not be in my inventory

Usually, when I play I like to mine blocks for hours just to give the materials to my friends but since the recent update almost every time I mine a block it'll show the animation that it has been broken but no item has been dropped and it will reappear. I currently don't have any clips of this happening but I am sure other people have experienced this problem.
