Bedrock Multiplayer not working (mobile)

Whenever attempting to join a friend's Minecraft world, I simply can't join when they have multiplayer on and my internet connection is good; it never works unless an update happens, then multiplayer only works for a day before not working entirely afterwards. Please fix this problem.
