Blocked water flow pathing

Bedrock Xbox 1.17.2 Both Realms and private survival&creative servers. Just after bug fix for diamonds and ore distribution, water pathing from a water source block placed by a player or dispensed, seemingly at random, is blocked, restricting the flow at times to a single stream vs. spreading outwards in all directions.
