1.17 diamond spawns

1.17 diamonds spawns are reduced significantly only on bedrock. Java edition can generate diamonds up to veins of 6 or 7 but console bedrock edition can only generate a max 4. It is now incredibly hard to find diamonds and it takes up a huge amount of my time mining for diamonds with little reward. Really hope this is a bug as it will be annoying waiting for the December update to resolve the issue. Thanks.
