Confused

I deleted minecraft and it said that my date will still transfer, I am playing on pocket edition and all my worlds and all my progress is gone. And i'm very confused, and it made me mad because I was trying to surprise my girlfriend. I spent so much time on that. I reason I deleted it was because it was freezing and my microsoft wasn't working so I read this option that said if I deleted the game it would still transfer my data and it didn't. I just started up a new world to see if the game was glitching but it still didn't do anything.
