2 bugs regarding mobs

I experienced 2 different bugs regarding mobs while playing 1.17 today. 

.the first bug was witnessed while I was mining. My cat randomly teleported to me while I was mining. I had it sitting at my base prior to this. I have multiple tamed mobs but it only affected my cat. 

.the second bug was witnessed after I came back from my mining trip and the cat incident. My axolotls, which I had spawned from a bucket and nametagged, had despawned from the enclosure I built them. 

It is important to mention that a thunderstorm was occurring in game while these events took place. 

Many other people have recently reported disappearing axolotls. I can't find anyone who has experienced a teleporting cat glitch besides myself in 1.17 however.
