Minecraft Nintendo Switch

when i go into minecraft it takes 5 minutes to load in the home screen before

i can click play and then when i select a world it loads and then immediately crashes when i’m loaded into a world. i played two nights ago on a friends worlds and was perfectly fine.  i’m trying to use a new texture pack on my switch which i think is causing the bugging? i’ve never had an issue using texture packs before though which is why it is so frustrating.
