PS5 Controller Issues

When I connected my PS5 Dual Sense Controller, I was not able to move my character properly. It spanned 360 degrees on the air and I couldn't control it. I tried resetting my in game and system settings. I think there is something wrong with the mapping of the controller and the game has yet to add it. But anyways someone let me know what should I do help!!!!!!!
