Minecraft bedrock won't update for nintendo switch

While minecraft for nintendo switch was updating it said that an error had occurred and that it couldn't finish the update. So i had restarted the system and tried to update it again but nothing changed. So I tried to run minecraft without it updating and it wouldn't let me. So I tried redownloading minecraft and now it won't download.
