Bonus chest not generating

desc: I have created three separate worlds in the past two days and have not seen one bonus chest despite turning it on for all of them.

 

steps to recreate:

1). Create a new world with bonus chest on.

2). Search the area around spawn and notice the lack of a bonus chest.

 

Expected results: a bonus chest will generate in the. vicinity of spawn.

 

observed results: no bonus chest generates.
