Reinstalling Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Does Not Sync Worlds

I had an issue with Minecraft opening this morning and decided to uninstall/reinstall Minecraft. While this got Minecraft working again, the worlds that I had were gone and had not synced despite me playing online and being signed in through my Microsoft account.
