Effect particles won't go away after effect runs out

Either Bad Omen effect or Hunger effect after being bit by Husk(had both at a time), after having been finished, left the particles still coming up. Hunger bar was cleared and I was healthy again, so both effects were gone, but circles kept showing up. Had to drink milk to get them to stop.
