Copper blocks, slabs and stairs oxidize way too slowly

The title says it all. I was quite interested in the way Copper blocks, slabs and stairs would oxidize when exposed to the rain, air and just straight open sky, sure they take a while to oxidize but Copper blocks, slabs and stairs aren't supposed to not oxidize that slow even with the randomtickspeed experiments. Maybe it's a bug???
