Bad Axolotl pathfinding/runs at walls

In my long term survival world named READY PLAYER ONE I decided to make a water logged cave for my axolotls and my other Axolotl named Binky. But I noticed they were having problems moving around the large cave I built. As in they kept trying to swim in a wall. Honestly, so far it does not look great in my cave. But I bet you guys can take care of this due you have made great update content in the past. Thank you if you ever get to this and I appreciate it!
