Servers stuck on loading home screen

When I open Minecraft and click play, it opens the three tab screen (worlds, realms, servers) but when i go onto the servers tab none of the servers load and only show the loading icon.
They stay like the picture i attached.
I've given them plenty of time to load and nothing changed.
