Diamond spawning rate

I cant find diamonds anymore with the start of the new 1.17 update. I assume that the diamond spawn rate was changed along with the rule of different ores generating at different y levels. Originally, before the division of the update the chart said that diamonds spawn at the lowest y levels and ores like iron and copper generate at higher y levels.  The golden rule for a long time now is that you find diamonds at level 11 and I have not found a single one. If i could get help on this situation i would be very grateful. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to listen to me complain.
