New items disappearing from chest.

New blocks available in the Caves and Cliffs update part I are not remaining in a chest. They deplete in quantity when left in a chest.

Example 1: I placed 16 glow ink sacs into a chest and came back to only find 8.

Example 2: I placed 2 glow ink sacs in another chest and they were completely gone.

Example 3: I placed 3 raw iron in a chest and they were completely gone when I checked again.

The problem does not seem to be instantaneous. The items disappear after a little while in the chest, if not, after one Minecraft day passes. It may also be due to leaving the chest in a different tic-zone.
