Infinite Loading Screen 1.17.0

So, I just updated my Minecraft to 1.17, excited to play Part 1 of Caves & Cliffs; however, it seems I won't be able to play today's update. I booted up the game after updating and have been stuck on the Mojang Studios for quite a while now with the loading bar stuck at 45%. A similar case happened with 1.16.221, but the game would eventually start up.

Doesn't look like I'll be able to play today's update, sadly, but hopefully the issue is looked into.
