New Minecraft Update

I tried to update Minecraft on Microsoft store and it did not show that I have to update. I tried to uninstall and install again and it worked but then I opened minecraft and all the worlds dissapeared. I searched the worlds files and it does not appear. All folders has the date of 6/8/2021 when some of my worlds were from April. Please help me thank you.
