Existing world crashes on all saves from past 2 months

I'll be performing an action and minecraft will immediately close and I'm back to the xbox screen. I have to restart minecraft and reload my world, and then it crashes again, over and over. I don't think the world is corrupt, I went back to backup versions over the last 2 months and they all exhibited issues too. Actions causing crashes:

• Mining or digging blocks. (not always 100%)
• Killing some animals or illagers. Illagers is 100%, some animals crash, others do not.
