Crashes when breaking blocks

My game crashes frequently on the latest beta version. It has crashed when breaking a cobblestone wall with a pickaxe, twice when breaking dirt with a firework. The block does not need to be fully broken yet. Some of the crashes occur while in the process of breaking the block, sometimes instantly.
