Grey bar at bottom of screen, covers tools

There is a Grey bar at bottom of screen. It covers my quick access to my tools and disrupts game play.

 

In case of me needing something quick, I.e, defending myself from zombies and grabbing my sword I have to squint to see through the grayed line.
