End not loading and spawning in the void

I was going into my end portal, and the game lagged, and I spawned in the void, died, and lost all of my stuff. I don't know if its important but I have all the end gateways on the main island unlocked. Also I did not fall off the platform, I spawned in the void, and could not fly away.
