Can walk through blocks

I can randomly walk through blocks. It happens on Random occasions- I thought it might be caused by Elytra but it's not.
And by walk through blocks, I mean I can stick my head through 1 block. If its above my head, next to me, etc. It's only a single block at a time- and it's always in proximity and it sometimes causes suffocation.
