Cant Join FRIENDS WORLD PLEASE HELP ME!!

Hi, I have been playing on my friends world alot lately until recently i am unable to join. When i try to join my i get left on the "locating server screen" indefinitely. I have try joinning on mobile with the same account and have had the same problem. I can join his other worlds and he can join mine too. Other friends can join him, i am the only one that cant. I have tried everything from resetting my IP, redownloading minecraft, unadding and re-adding him as a friend, using a vpn, restarting both devices, restarting my router completely. Please help.
