Game crashes just short of 45 seconds into gameplay

I have to be connected to the internet or else the game won't load, which previously before the last hotfix, was not an issue. The game play now only lasts just short of 45 seconds before the game crashes. It crashes even faster when I'm not connected to the internet, crashing just before the world even loads.
