An unremovable effect

So I died by freezing to death in snow (I think it's from Caves and Cliffs?), respawned as usually but now I have a constant slowness effect like during freezing. I can't take it off with commands, milk, dying again or re-entering the game. It also stays on creative, after using command 'effect clear' too
