Rainwater travels through campfire roofing

Hello, I would like to suggest some advise to what I think could possibly be a bug. It is that rain water travels straight through campfire's, preventing such would make campfire's a much better alternative to roofing for cabins and stables etc. If changing this isnt ideal I would reccomend the addition a new log like roofing/flooring that looks like the campfires.
