One Block Lucky Block won't produce items

We downloaded a One Block Lucky Block world for my son to play but whenever we open the world the one lucky Block you stand on is grey and won't provide any items so you cannot play the world. Any idea why this game won't work? We spent $5 on it so I'd like to try and figure out the problem.
