Custom Skin is Reset on its own

It is when i choose a custom skin then, and when i close the game and start it, the custom skin is reset and a steve skin or alex skin is replacing. Can you fix this issue i want my skin to remain in the game until i change that skin. The picture i added is the moment I changed my skin into a custom skin.
