Missing 'invite to game option'

So dear mojang so I've purchased this game from play store last year and foem then I had no issues however this year when I wanted some of my friends to join my minecraft world on my pause menu I couldn't get the option to invite players to my game so I thought it was a glitch so I deleted the game and reinstalled it however there was no improvement so pls help me
