Overkill Achievement Not Working

When I tried killing zombies with my netherite sword with Smite V and Fire Aspect I it did not give me the Overkill achievement. I even tried critical hits but still no achievement and I really need this achievement because I'm trying to get the Playstation Platinum Trophy.
