Visual glitch with redstone dust on Sea Lanterns

In the screenshots you can see a trail of redstone dust going down the Sea Lanterns, as if they are Glass blocks, yet Sea Lanterns will not allow redstone signals to traverse diagonally as Glass blocks would.
