Paintings don't drop when destroyed

I crafted a painting to place it in the attic of my house in single player, but I didn't like it, so I destroyed it. The painting never dropped, and I can't find it anywhere. I have attached a recording of this. (Sorry about the bad quality and watermark, I had to compress it so I could attach it here.)
