DLC from Minecraft eshop not downloading on Nintendo Switch

I just purchased minecraft coins through the minecraft game on a nintendo swtich:
 
4380 Minecoin Pack and then purchased the pixelmon pack which was confirmed but when trying to download the download screen does not progress beyond 0% - ie nothing happens. The file is only 26 MB and I have 14.4GB free on the console so it is not a storage issue.  Please advise, this is my first attempt at installing minecraft DLC on a switch so I am not sure what I am doing wrong or if there is a technical issue.

 

ps above where I entered the version of minecraft I just randomly picked as I dont know what version is installed.
