When crafting gold from gold blocks and gold nuggets, it will only craft one of them into gold

When you have gold blocks and gold nuggets and you try to creaft them into gold ingots, it will only craft one of them into gold blocks and leave the gold ingots in the red with a number still on them. It is really annoying because I have to come back on the crafting table. Sorry if this is any trouble. I know this is not your first priorty with 1.17 coming on it's way so ignore it if you want.
