Inventory Glitch

Hello, I have found a glitch where I have selected an item in my inventory or hotbar, and try to swap it for something else that is in the invetory (if I want to swap something from the hotbar) or to the hotbar (if I want to swap something from the inventory) and it would not accept it after I 'swapped' Them instead, they stay the same. I have to do this multiple times before I can have it accepted. And no, I'm not on any thing of online due to not having PS+ so this is not a internet problem. And the strange thing is, it happens randomly so I'm unsure if you can duplicate it.

TL&DR: it happens when i try to drag an item to a location where I want it to go, and if that slot has something in it, it sometimes won't swap.
