I cant seem to be able to see my friend's messages in-game so to her.

I am unable to see any in-game messages from one of my friend. She also having the same problem with me. She cant see any messages i wrote in game. But during our play with our other friends in bedrock realms, our other friends can see the messages we typed but i cant can hers and she cant see mine. So, we use sign boards to talk w each other during playing. I have tried to search for solutions online and tweak around our settings but it seems like there is no solutions.
