1.16.221 Dyed sign glitch

All signs made before the update when dyed come out vibrant and bright but all signs made and dyed after the update are dull and hard to read. Vibrant signs when right clicked on with a ink sac turn dull and this can't be undone. I provided video evidence of this happening in my game below:
