Inventory and progress disappears after exiting and rejoining lan multiplayer

Progress and inventory items disappears after quiting and rejoining a lan multiplayer world. Somehow the host or the owner of the world does not lose progress and inventory items. Only the players that joined the world have high chance of losing progress and inventory items.
