Nether Portal bug

I made a new nether Portal in the overworld while already having one created in the nether. When i hopped in the portal, i got teleported to a random zone and spawned in the nether WITHOUT the portal to get back to the overworld. There is no way for me to get back to the overworld without dying and losing all of my inventory
